We offer repair services on all makes and models of hearing instruments, many times on the spot and right in our office.

We also handle repairs of hearing aid casings and custom ear molds, in almost all cases in house and back in our patients ears promptly, most of times with same day service.

However, anytime one of our patient’s instrument is out of service we will do everything we can to provide them with an appropriate loaner and, unless we make a custom mold of some sort to go along with the loaner, we’ll do so at no cost to our patients. Just as another way to say, we understand how important amplification is to the quality of your life and how it degrades without it.

Quick Tip

More than 75 percent of all hearing aid repairs are due to moisture and earwax accumulating in the hearing aid. The vast majority of these repairs are 100 percent preventable. It is extremely important to clean the entire hearing aid every time it is removed from your ear by wiping and brushing it. To better protect your investment, use a DRY-AID kit every night!

Get in the habit of cleaning the hearing aid after each use and keeping the hearing aid in the dry-aid kit at night. Remember, the hearing aid is ultra small electronic circuitry and moisture is the enemy! Preventive maintenance is the key to trouble free, long life from a hearing aid. A well maintained hearing aid can easily last 5 to 7 years, or even longer.

For everyday sanitation and cleaning I highly recommend Audio-Wipes, ammonium chloride pre-moistened wipes.  They are the perfect size for wiping and sanitizing hearing aids and if you are ever in my office you will see them in every room.  We try not to handle anyone’s hearing aid without one as they are an integral part of our infection control protocols.
