Yes, we sell hearing aids. But, just how do I make the decision about what to hearing aid, or amplification product to recommend to my patients?
As an independent dispenser, the choices I have available today can be truly mind boggling. The equipment we have available is evolving constantly, with all the major manufacturers and most of the minor ones, now announcing new product offerings two, or even three times a year. Ultimately, my recommendations come down to a cost vs benefit analysis that attempts to maximize the value of our patient's purchase, by matching the right equipment to their needs.
By listening to our patient's goals, their expectations, experiences and the environments they expect to hear well and function in, we arrive together, at an instrument recommendation that delivers the benefits that they expect, within the budget they have to work with.

This means that we don't deal in private labels, or unknown brands. I want my patients to have the peace of mind of knowing that wherever they might travel, that should they need service they will be able to find a hearing care professional who will not only recognize the instrument that they are wearing, but if they are an independent like me, that they will easily be able to obtain service, spare parts and even programing adjustments, should they be needed.
